Significance of measurement
It has been reported that IgM antibody is not always produced in all patients infected with Covid-19, whereas IgG antibody is produced in most cases regardless of the degree of symptoms. About 60-80% of patients were observed to produce IgG antibody 10 days after the onset of the disease, and almost all patients were observed to produce IgG antibody 14 days after the onset of disease. In many cases, the duration of IgG antibody can last for at least 30 days after the onset of the disease. However, the detailed information is insufficient and further clarification is needed.
