The ELISA primarily intends not to determine "negative" or "positive" but rather to determine the threshold for "negative" or "positive". Antibody titer varies with the recognition site, condition, and stage of antigen. This QuaResearch series provides antibody measurement systems for two well-known antigens of COVID -19, spike protein and nucleocapsid protein. In some cases, the antibody titer of COVID -19 may differ significantly between these two types of antigen recognition sites.
In our company, through clinical joint research with domestic clinical institutions, the cut off index (threshold) of ELISA antibody titer in PCR positive group, negative control group (pre-pandemic), and the variation of antibody titer at the time of infection are statistically analyzed (to be submitted).
